Function
As a Senior Cloud Engineer you will be working on large migrations including a migration from on premise to the Cloud (Azure). You will supervise technical processes and be partly responsible for various migrations that are planned in the coming year. Also, a new data warehouse will be set up, this will also be partly your responsibility as a Cloud Engineer. You will define and document best practices and strategies related to application implementation and infrastructure maintenance. You will manage the cloud environments while adhering to the organization’s security guidelines at all times. Finally, you will guide the development team to develop Cloud related solutions.

Organization
This organization was founded in the late 1930s and serves as a global publisher in the field of tax law. For example, they advise governments, offer (hybrid) training courses and organize webinars. Within this organization they have 40 different nationalities, so there is an international, informal and relaxed atmosphere. For this reason it is necessary that you speak English well. The organizational structure is flat so there is little to no hierarchy. They are currently busy professionalizing their IT department. They have invested heavily in the Cloud and could really use your knowledge and expertise in this area. You will be working in the IT department which currently has 20 employees.

Requirements
– Minimum of MBO 4 (HBO working and thinking level)
– Minimum of 3 years experience with Azure
– Fluent English
– Knowledge of virtualization technologies (such as Hyper-V and Linux KVM)
– Knowledge of Office 365
